In my last post I decided that I should buy the Ford Escape. It’s a modern, fun to drive SUV with plenty of space and good gas mileage.

I keep seeing adverts for the latest Jeep Grand Cherokee and I really like the styling. I have had a couple of Jeeps and really like them. I’m not sure what Jeep are playing at, but over the years they seem to alternate between robust “proper” looking:
to bubbly attempts to look luxurious that just make it looks overweight:

back to a handsome, rugged luxury off roader (okay it’s not a Range Rover Evoque, but still):
The latest model has had great reviews and that guy on Motorweek (which I always have to say in the same way he says it at the start of the show – “welcome to mo-tore-week”) loves it.
so I think I might get a Grand Cherokee….
